A man in his 20s has been shot and seriously injured in West Bromwich.
Police were called to reports of a gun being fired on High Street late on Thursday evening.
They found the man suffering suspected gun shot wounds and he was taken to Sandwell Hospital where he was said to be in a serious condition.
Police sealed off the road between Bagnall Street and the A4031 Trinity Way for forensic examinations and advised motorists to avoid the area.
