Murder charge over campus death

A 34-year-old man has appeared in court in Birmingham charged with the murder of university employee Deepti Anurag.

Anurag Johri, of Aston, spoke only to confirm his details and was remanded in custody until a later date.

Ms Anurag's body was discovered in a building on the campus of the University of Central England in Perry Bar on Friday.

The 29-year-old, from Harborne, who worked at the campus business school, had suffered head injuries.
