Bakery shut over mice infestation
A branch of Firkin bakeries has closed after a routine visit by environmental health officers revealed evidence of a mice infestation.

A spokesman for Sandwell Council said an investigation has been opened after the discovery at Black Lake, West Bromwich on Monday.

The company offered to close the premises voluntarily.

Councillor Mahboob Hussain said: "We are visiting the premises on a regular basis and supervising remedial works."
