Horse found strangled near school
The RSPCA has launched an investigation after a horse was found strangled in a field near a school in Dudley.

It is believed the animal was tied to a rugby post in the field in Brierley Hill and had strangled itself with the chain as it tried to break free.

A member of the public found the horse lying in the field near Pensnett School of Technology on Thursday.

An RSPCA spokesman said it was irresponsible of the horse's owner to leave it tied up in this way.
