Two men have died and another man has been injured in two motorway crashes in the West Midlands.
Two lorries crossed the central reservation hitting three other vehicles on the M5 in Worcestershire.
A man from South Wales died at the scene and another man was airlifted to hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
Two hours later a lorry hit the central reservation on the M42, near Bromsgrove in Worcestershire. A man from Birmingham died at the scene.
Central Motorway Police are appealing for witnesses to the crashes.
The first one happened at 1430 BST on the southbound carriageway of the M5 between junctions 5 and 6.
The second fatal crash happened on the eastbound carriageway of the M42.
One lane on both the M42 and M5 motorways are still closed for repairs following the crashes.
