Pair appear in court over murder
A man and a woman have appeared in court jointly charged with the murder of a man whose body has not been found. Steven Parton, 39, and Karen Morris, 23, are accused of killing Nelvaughn Brade between 5 November and 11 November in Perry Barr.

Mr Parton, of College Road, Perry Barr, and Ms Morris, of Kitchener Road, Selly Park, are due to appear at Birmingham's Crown Court on 22 November.

They were both remanded into custody. No application for bail was made.
