More than 300 people have been questioned by detectives
The funeral has taken place for four members of the same family who died in an arson attack at a house in the Black Country last month.

Ajit Singh, 62, his 60-year-old wife Gurdish Kaur, their daughter Darshan Kaur, 30, and daughter-in-law Palvinder Kaur, 38, died in the fire in Tipton.

A police investigation into the incident on Peak Drive on 28 September is being treated as a murder inquiry.

The funeral was held at the Amrit Parchar Temple in Oldbury on Wednesday.

Granddaughter rescued

Speaking after the service, the temple's general secretary, Gian Singh Riat, told BBC WM the community was still struggling to come to terms with the deaths.

Detectives believe the doors of the semi-detached house were locked and the family could not escape from the fire, which started at about midnight.

More than 300 people have been questioned by police, who are keen to trace two Asian men seen in the area in connection with the fire.

The Singhs' 20-year-old granddaughter Amarjeet Kaur was taken to hospital with severe burns after being rescued from an upstairs window.
