A second person has been arrested in connection with the death of a pensioner who was found by fire crews in his smoke-filled flat.
The 21-year-old man is being questioned along with a 15-year-old who was arrested by police on Tuesday.
Benjamin Jones, 76, had been stabbed several times.
His body was discovered shortly before 0700 BST on Thursday at his ground-floor flat in Fereday Street, Tipton, West Midlands.
Drinkers questioned
Post-mortem examinations revealed the pensioner, who was single and had no children, had been stabbed several times in the back.
Police say Mr Jones left the George and Dragon pub in High Street, Tipton, between 1500 BST and 1700 BST on 7 April but it is not known where he went from there.
Officers will be talking to people on Tipton High Street and speaking to locals at the George and the Dragon pub, where Mr Jones was a regular.
Detective chief inspector Adrian Atherley, who is leading the inquiry, has appealed for anyone who may have seen Mr Jones's last movements to come forward.
