Shae's injuries are serious but not life-threatening
A man is being held in connection with a petrol bomb attack at a clothes store in which a young girl was badly burnt.

Shae Thomas, from Bristol, was injured on 27 August at TK Maxx in Perry Barr, Birmingham, when a bottle filled with fuel was thrown into the main entrance.

The six-year-old is being treated for burns to her head, shoulder and arm.

West Midlands Police said a 24-year-old man from Wolverhampton was held on Tuesday on suspicion of wounding and arson with intent to endanger life.

Shae's mother and grandmother also received minor burns in the attack at the One Stop Shopping Centre.

The girl's condition has been described as serious but stable, and her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

An 18-year-old Birmingham man detained on suspicion of wounding shortly after the incident was freed on police bail at the weekend.
