A man has been charged with failing to keep his dog under control after it attacked a 13-year-old girl in West Bromwich.
Stacey Briggs was taken to hospital following the attack in Dawes Avenue at 1230 BST on Saturday.
The teenager suffered bites to both of her arms, legs and on other parts of her body,
The dog's 53-year-old owner, from West Bromwich, is due to appear at magistrates court later this month for failing to keep the animal under control in a public place.
Stacey is now recovering at home after the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Labrador cross attacked her.
A member of the public was also injured a he tried to pull the dog off the girl.
