A motorcyclist has died following a crash in County Durham involving three other vehicles.

The woman, who has not been named, died after the accident on the A68 near the Harperley Hall roundabout between Crook and Tow Law on Saturday morning.

A stretch of the A68 was closed for a time so a recovery operation could be undertaken. An investigation into the crash is continuing.
