Library services move for revamp

Library services in a County Durham town will be on the move for a month while building work is carried out.

From Saturday essential work is to be carried out at Durham County Council town hall in Bishop Auckland.

In the meantime, borrowers will be able to use a mobile library service operating from Market Place.

The mobile unit is open for two days on 13 and 27 October for users wanting take back and borrow books. The revamped library opens on 10 November.
