Police identify house death woman

Ms McKitten was a mother-of-two

A mother-of-two found dead in her County Durham home has been identified by police.

Kelly McKitten, 31, was discovered by an ambulance crew called to the house in Gardiner Crescent, Pelton Fell, Chester-le-Street, on Wednesday.

A 26-year-old man from Sacriston is being questioned by detectives at Durham City police station on suspicion of her murder.
