A teenager has been charged with the rape of a woman in a street in County Durham, police have said.
The 50-year-old victim was subjected to an attack in Stephens Road, in Murton, on 4 November.
A spokesman for Durham Police said the 17-year-old was charged with the attack on Thursday night following questioning by officers.
The youth is expected to appear before magistrates in Peterlee on Friday morning, the spokesman added.
