A masked man, armed with a knife, stole hundreds of pounds from a betting shop in County Durham on Thursday afternoon.
During the robbery at the shop on Lovaine Terrace, Ferryhill, the sole member of staff on duty was threatened with a large knife.
The man, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, then escaped with cash from the till.
Durham Police are asking anyone who saw the masked man enter or leave the premises to contact them.
