Business warned over phone photos
Businesses are being warned to be on their guard after men were seen taking photographs with their mobile phones shortly before a burglary.

Northumbria Police said they were seen taking the pictures of a wall between Maxwells DIY and Kwik Save, Morpeth Road, in Ashington, Northumberland.

Overnight between 26 and 27 October, offenders broke into the DIY shop.

They broke through a connecting wall to the back of a cash machine in Kwik Save, taking a quantity of cash.

Police are urging staff who notice suspicious incidents when anyone is seen taking mobile phone photographs in their premises to turn their CCTV cameras on them and contact the police.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the police.
