A teenager has been remanded in custody charged with stabbing a man to death.
Robert Richardson, 33, from Kenton, Newcastle, died after being found injured inside a van in Kirkley Close, Gosforth, on Friday afternoon.
Lee Cruddas, 19, of Great North Road, Gosforth, appeared before Newcastle magistrates accused of his murder.
He will appear before Newcastle Crown Court on 9 October. A post-mortem examination found Mr Richardson died of a single stab wound.
A woman, aged 29, held on suspicion of murder has been bailed, along with a man aged 20 and a 36-year-old woman, both suspected of assisting an offender.
