A second search has failed to find a diver who went missing off the north-east of England coast.
A major air and sea operation was held after the man failed to surface after diving on Danny's Wreck, east of Amble in Northumberland, on Sunday afternoon.
Two RNLI lifeboats, three helicopters, diving vessels and a warship took part in the search.
On Monday, the Amble lifeboat and the diver's support vessel returned to the site for an underwater search.
A team of divers was sent down from the support vessel Spellbinder to carry out a search of the wreck but they were unable to find anything and both boats later returned to their ports on Monday afternoon.
Spellbinder reported the man missing about seven miles east of Amble and an urgent request for assistance was made at 1445 BST on Sunday.
The warship HMS Illustrious was on passage through the area and provided two Sea King helicopters to supplement the Sea King from RAF Boulmer.
The lifeboats and helicopters continued until slack tide at 1800 BST on Sunday but failed to find any sign of the man.
