Motorcyclist dies after collision

A motorcyclist has died following a collision in Middlesbrough.

The 18-year-old suffered serious injuries in the collision with a Skoda Fabia, on Acklam Road, and later died in hospital.

No details of his identity have as yet been released, but he is believed to be from the Middlesbrough area.

Any witnesses to the incident, which happened at the junction with West Lane at 0745 GMT, are asked to contact Cleveland Police.
