Nightclub injuries teenager dies

A teenager injured at a County Durham nightclub has died in hospital.

Nathan Allen suffered head injuries at Inside Out in Beaumont Street, Darlington, in the early hours of 1 November.

The 19-year-old, from Darlington, died at Middlesbrough's James Cook University Hospital.

Police want to trace a man, dressed as the Riddler character from the film Batman Forever, who had been involved in an altercation with Mr Allen.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out later this week.

Any witnesses, particularly anyone who saw both Mr Allen and the second man being removed from the club, is asked to contact police.
