Man charged with teenager murder

A man has been charged with murdering a teenager who was found stabbed to death on a Middlesbrough street.

Ian Charlton, 18, from Grangetown, died from a single stab wound in Caldicot Close on Friday night.

A 21-year-old man has been charged by Cleveland Police and will appear before Teesside magistrates on Monday.

A 17-year-old youth has been bailed by police, while two men, aged 27 and 43, and a 24-year-old woman, have been released without charge.
