Man is attacked in street for 10

A man with learning difficulties was assaulted and forced to hand over cash on a Hartlepool Street.

The man was attacked by two men while he was leaving the town centre, walking across the car park behind the Yorkshire Bank on York road.

The 34-year-old was put in a head lock by the men and forced to hand over the 10 cash he had.

Officers are asking for anyone with information or witnesses to contact police in Hartlepool.
