Office block is gutted in blaze

More than 40 firefighters tackled a blaze at an office block on Teesside.

No-one was reported hurt in the fire, at the block used by an oil and gas company, in Commercial Street in Middlesbrough on Friday night.

A spokeswoman for Cleveland Fire and Rescue Service said 70% of the single-storey building was destroyed.

The spokeswoman said the cause of the blaze was yet to be determined and an inquiry by police and fire service investigators was ongoing.
