Drugs worth more than 1m seized

Five people have been arrested and amphetamines with an estimated street value of more than 1m found during a police raid on Teesside.

The 12 kilo haul is believed to be one of the largest seizures of the drug in the Cleveland force area.

It was discovered during a police raid at two properties in the Braid Crescent area of Billingham.

The three men and two women, aged between 18 and 28 and all local, are helping police with their inquiries.
