Party guest suffers head injuries

A party guest is critically ill in hospital after being found with severe head injuries at a house on Teesside.

Police said the 46-year-old had been a guest at the address in Fonteyn Court, Middlesbrough, on Tuesday night.

He was found unconscious the next day and is being treated in the James Cook University Hospital.

Cleveland Police said it was possible he could have fallen down the stairs. They want to speak to other party guests to establish what happened.
