Knife threat in bookmaker robbery
Staff at a Middlesbrough betting shop were left "shaken" after robbers threatened them with a knife.

Police said two men targeted the William Hill bookmakers in Ormesby Road, Park End, on Monday night.

The robbers fled the scene on a motorbike after two female cashiers handed over a small amount of money.

A spokesman said the men were white, aged in their early 20s and of medium build. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
