Computer probe teacher found dead
A teacher arrested as part of an investigation into computer misuse at a Teesside school has been found dead.

The body of Michael Hall, 34, a teacher at Hartlepool's High Tunstall College of Science, was found at a flat in Beatrice House, Sunderland on Tuesday.

Police said there were no suspicious circumstances and a post-mortem examination was due to be held.

It is understood that the allegations were being investigated by a team from Cleveland Police.

A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: "We can confirm the body of a 34-year-old was found at a house in Sunderland on Tuesday.

"There are no suspicious circumstances and a report is being prepared for the coroner."

A 28-year-old High Tunstall teacher was also arrested and suspended over allegations of the misuse of computer equipment.

He was released on bail pending inquiries.

The school, in Elwick Road, in the West Park area of Hartlepool, has around 1,100 pupils.
