Man charged with brother's murder

William West was found with stab wounds when police arrived
A Teesside teenager has appeared in court accused of stabbing his brother to death.

Police discovered the body of 20-year-old William West when they were called to a property in the Dyke House area of Hartlepool early on Monday.

Daniel West, 18, of Helmsley Street in the town, was arrested at the scene.

He was remanded in custody by Hartlepool magistrates and will appear at Teesside Crown Court on 27 November, charged with murder.
