New £10m centre opens to students
Students Ingrid Elin Dahl-Olson, Deborah Mathews and David Collinson
Three students were given a tour of the building last week
A new £10m campus building is set to open to University of Teesside students on Monday.

The Athena Centre for Creative Technologies in Middlesbrough will be used for art, media, design, and computing studies.

A spokesman said the centre would help build on the university's reputation for excellence in the four areas.

The centre is on the site of the former YMCA building, on the corner of Southfield Road and Woodlands Road.

Three students, Ingrid Elin Dahl-Olson, Deborah Mathews and David Collinson, were given a sneak preview of the building last week.
