Man accused of dying woman attack

The attack took place on Hartlepool's Jobson Street in July

A man has appeared in court over an alleged attack on a woman who lay dying on her doorstep.

Christine Lakinski, from Hartlepool, was allegedly sprayed with shaving foam and urinated upon in the town's Hobson Street on 26 July.

The 50-year-old died from natural causes, an inquest found.

Anthony Anderson, 27, of Raby Road, was bailed unconditionally to appear before Hartlepool Magistrates on 19 September, charged with outraging public decency.

Miss Lakinski, who had the mental age of a teenager, was described as a "lovely sister" by her brother Mark.
