No change at independent Teesdale

Labour made small losses at Teesdale District Council's local elections, consolidating control by the independent councillors.

The Tories took one seat, increasing their total to four, and closing the gap on Labour, who have six seats after losing three.

But the independent councillors continue to dominate the council after gaining two seats.

They remain in strong control with a total of 22.
