Swan found with 'air gun wounds'
The body of a swan, with what are believed to be air gun wounds, has been discovered at a remote wildlife facility on Teesside.

The dead bird was found by a member of the public at the Stillington Forest Park on the outskirts of Stockton.

Police and RSPCA officers described the find as sickening.

They said the finding followed recent reports that youths had been taking pot-shots at the local wildlife with air guns.
