Burglar steals 'barking' parrot
A parrot which can bark like a dog and say hello has been stolen during a raid at a disabled woman's house.

The green and yellow bird, called Joey, was taken in his three foot square cage from an address in Parliament Walk, in Stockton, on Thursday.

Police said the burglar got in through an insecure door while the 45-year-old owner was upstairs.

The woman was given the pet, who has yellow cheeks, a year ago as a combined Christmas and birthday present.
