Vandals ransack 100 gravestones
Security is being stepped up at a cemetery after vandals knocked over and damaged more than 100 gravestones.

It is the second time the Durham Road Cemetery in Stockton-on-Tees has been targeted by vandals in as many months.

Police said security would be stepped up and they are also currently scouring cemetery CCTV footage in the hope the culprits have been caught on camera.

Many headstones were destroyed in the attack and toys in the baby section were strewn on the ground or stolen.
