Man, 23, killed in overturned car
A man has been killed and two people injured after a car lost control overtaking another vehicle on Teesside and ended up on its roof.

The accident happened on the northbound carriageway of the A19 at Billingham late on Monday night.

Police said a VW Passat overtook a Toyota, lost control and overturned.

The 23-year-old man died of severe head injuries hours after the crash. A man aged 27, and a 26-year-old woman are being treated in North Tees Hospital.

A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said their injuries were not life-threatening and appealed for witnesses.
