Two men have been rescued after their boat sunk off the Teesside coast.
The Humber Coastguard received a call on Tuesday evening to say the vessel Norwood had sunk off Hartlepool.
A fishing boat rescued one man but heavy swell prevented fishermen from getting to the other man, the coastguard said.
Hartlepool Lifeboat eventually reached him and both the rescued men, who are aged 50 and 37, were taken to Hartlepool General Hospital.
It is not known what caused the boat to sink. A rescue helicopter was also sent to the scene.
