Police on Teesside made 22 arrests on Saturday night when they targeted the supply of drugs around pubs and clubs.
Dogs were used in the operation, which saw Cleveland Police officers join forces with British Transport Police and council enforcement officers.
Seven premises in Middlesbrough were visited as part of the Cleveland force's ongoing Operation Sabre.
A police spokesman said quantities of cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis were recovered outside a number of bars.
Taxi operators
Four of the arrests related directly to drugs. A further 18 people were arrested for a variety of drink, assault and public order offences.
Three rogue taxi operators were also cautioned.
The Cleveland Police spokesman said no arrests were made inside any licensed premises and that officers had the full support of landlords.
