Body found in plane undercarriage

The body of a man has been found in the undercarriage of an aircraft at Gatwick Airport in West Sussex.

Engineers discovered the body during a routine safety inspection after the Ghana Airlines flight GU101 from Accra landed at about 0700 BST on Thursday.

Sussex Police said Gatwick Airport was working closely with them "to determine the circumstances leading to this tragic incident".

BAA Gatwick said the incident caused no disruption to services.
