Man charged over beach assaults

A 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with four incidents on Brighton beach.

Ricardo Tavares, of Montpelier Terrace, Brighton, was arrested by Sussex Police in the early hours of Thursday.

He has been charged with 10 offences of sexual assault, assault and theft between April last year and February of this year.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Brighton magistrates on Saturday.
