A 29-year-old mother whose two young sons died in a house fire in Eastbourne has been interviewed again by detectives, Sussex Police have said.

Denise Goldsmith, of Milfoil Drive, was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and child neglect, and released on bail after the fatal blaze.

Detectives re-interviewed Ms Goldsmith on Thursday and released her on bail until 2 March 2009.

Lewis Jenkins, seven, and Taylor, five, both died in the fire on 4 October.

Their bodies were found inside the terraced property.

Post-mortem examinations confirmed the two boys died from inhaling fire fumes after a blaze started at their house at 1500 BST.

They were both pupils at nearby Shinewater Primary School.

Sussex Police have said they are not treating the fire as arson.

Ms Goldsmith was taken to the town's district hospital where she was treated for minor burns and bruises following the fire.
