Illness crash motorcyclist dies

A father-of-two has died after an illness caused him to collapse and fall from his motorcycle in Brighton.

Richard Penfold, 32, from the city, suffered serious injuries in the accident on Lewes Road and later died at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

Another motorcyclist suffered a hand injury during the incident at about 1130 GMT on Sunday.

Sussex Police said they were investigating the accident and the coroner had been informed.
