Cleaner finds body in public loos

A man's body has been found by a cleaner in public toilets in Brighton city centre.

Paramedics were called to the toilets in Royal Pavilion Gardens at 0950 GMT, but they confirmed the man had died.

Sussex Police have cordoned off an area of the Royal Pavilion Gardens, North Street and Princes Place.

A spokesperson said they are treating the death as "unexplained" and an investigation has started to establish identity and the cause of death.
