Pensioner killed in crash named

A man who died following a collision between a car and a Royal Mail van in West Sussex has been named by police.

Gordon Pickett, 75, of Tower Road, Lancing, was killed in the crash on Western Road in Lancing on 7 August.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was treated for shock and minor injuries at Worthing Hospital.

Sussex Police have appealed for anyone with information about the collision to contact them.
