Driver killed in crash with van

A man has died following a collision between a car and a Royal Mail van in West Sussex.

Sussex Police said the man, believed to have lived locally, was killed in the crash on Western Road in Lancing at about 1430 BST on Thursday.

The man, who was driving a Honda Jazz car, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the van was treated at Worthing Hospital for minor injuries.

Officers have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
