Two killed and two hurt in crash

Two drivers have been killed and two teenage passengers seriously injured in a crash in East Sussex.

A women in her 40s and a man in his 60s were killed in the collision between a Ford Ka and a Nissan vehicle on the A259 between Eastbourne and East Dean.

The drivers were pronounced dead at the scene at about 2130 BST on Thursday.

A 17-year-old girl in the Ka and a woman, aged 18, who was a passenger in the Nissan, are both being treated for serious injuries.

Sussex Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
