Driver arrest after two-car crash

A driver has been arrested following a collision on an East Sussex road that left another man seriously injured.

The crash between two cars happened on the A26 near Ringmer at about 2100 BST on Friday.

Sussex Police said the grey Renault was travelling southbound when it left the road. The driver is in a serious condition in hospital.

They have appealed for anyone who saw a vehicle that matches the description of the car to contact them.
