Flats bomb hoax man is detained

A man accused of planting a hoax device who failed to turn up at court has been arrested and held in custody.

Paul Triballi, 25, of no fixed address, was due to attend for a pre-trial hearing and a warrant was issued.

He was arrested in Lancaster and appeared at Lewes Crown Court, pleading guilty to causing the hoax in February, and will be sentenced on 11 August.

Residents from Brighton's Highleigh Flats went to a police station while a controlled explosion was carried out.
