A father-of-two who featured in reality TV show Wife Swap has died from a suspected drugs overdose, police said.
Simon Foster, 40, starred in the Channel 4 series with his wife Jane in October. Viewers were told they had split after it was filmed.
Sussex Police said he was found collapsed in a flat on the Whitehawk estate, Brighton on 15 April. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
Channel 4 said its sincere condolences went out to Mr Foster's family.
A spokeswoman said there was no evidence to suggest the breakdown of the marriage was linked to the couple's appearance on Wife Swap.
She added: "The break up of the relationship followed the filming of Wife Swap and no blame was apportioned to production.
"All Wife Swap contributors are offered support both during and after filming and this care was of course available to Simon Foster."
An inquest into Mr Foster's death will be held on 24 July, Sussex Police said.
