Cylinder alert in caravan blaze

Firefighters are monitoring gas cylinders after tackling a blaze in a caravan.

Emergency teams were called to the fire in Goddards Green, West Sussex, just after midnight.

Crews were told someone inside the caravan, but all people were later accounted for, a spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said.

She said crews were still at the scene more than 10 hours after the fire, in case the blaze reignited.

An investigation has begun into the cause of the incident.
