Travellers' site plan put on hold
Plans to set up a gypsy travellers' site in an East Sussex town have been put on hold.

Residents took to the streets in January to protest against proposals for the Sandrock Park area of Hastings.

Two other locations were being considered but Hastings Borough Council told officials to redraft proposals at a meeting on Thursday night.

Residents feared the site would spill over onto nearby verges and reduce property values in the area.
